OHIP Coverage
Services provided by registered psychologists, as with all other allied health professionals, are not covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).
Private Insurance
Most private insurance plans, insurance provided by your employer or purchased on your own, do provided limited coverage for services provided by a registered psychologist. This coverage is usually up to a specified amount for each family member; please check with your employer or insurance provider.
Fees
The Ontario Psychological Association recommends an hourly rate of $225 for services provided by a registered psychologist. Our current hourly rate is $180 to $220 for a 50 minute session. In addition we provide a number of services and various types of assessments at a set cost that will be agreed upon before the commencement of such services.
